Learn How To Cope With Tough Times

 |  By: Anna-Lisa Laca

It’s no secret that farmers throughout the country are walking through tough times. Learning how to cope with that stress is invaluable. It’s for that reason the Dairy Girl Network is hosting a free webinar called “Helping Dairy Farmers Through Tough Times” that is open to anyone in the agriculture industry.

The webinar which will outline practical tips farmers can use to reduce stress, will be presented by Dr. Michael R. Rosmann, Ph.D., on Friday, June 15th at 12:00 p.m. central. Because they believe conversations around mental health are crucial during this time in our industry Dairy Girl Network is providing the webinar at no cost to producers.

“Helping dairy farmers cope well personally during the current difficult economic era is most important, although recent research reports indicate that the health of the animals they care for goes hand in hand with the behavioral health of their caretakers,” they said in a statement. “In this webinar, psychologist/farmer Dr. Michael Rosmann will suggest practices that dairy producers can use to diminish personal and employee stress and to improve herd health.”

While the webinar is free, you will still need to register by Thursday, June 14. To register visit www.dairygirlnetwork.com.

Our sister publication, Dairy Herd Management, is a vision level sponsor of the Dairy Girl Network.
