Will USMCA Signing Bring an End to Metal Tariffs?

The G20 Summit in Argentina is likely to be a major moment in the Trump administration's trade policy.  Mexico and Canada anticipate signing the USMCA trilateral accord that would lift tariffs on steel and aluminum. Mexico's ambassador to the U.S. says it is his country's expectation that by the time the new NAFTA free trade agreement is signed, there will be a solution or a clear path to lifting U.S. metal tariffs.

Lifting the tariffs would clear the way for Canada and Mexico to end retaliatory tariffs on about $15 billion dollars worth of U.S. exports, and that includes pork.
